what are the concequences of the persons pre-production responsibility not being fulfilled?
If they don't produce their work responasily such things such as film stoke and camera operation will not occor. If they can't produce their work properly the story of th emovie cant be shown in the way the director want it to, as it is the director of photography which captures the story for the film by making sure the rught angles are filmed by the camera. actors

On medium or larger budget films the casting director will hire the people with the most talented actor for the role. The job of a casting director is important as their personally hired to make these tough decisions

In some scripts the actor is already chosen in the film as the director has a certain image in their head and has pictured them in it. For example, in the cartoon movie moana the actor the rock was chosen as one of the characters was based on him. Some producers wont do some projects unless certain actors or actresses are playing roles, this maybe because in previous movies they played that role however now it is played by another ie this happens in the james bond movies.

Job skills

The job skills of an actor consists of rehearsing constantly to be able to remember lines, there for scenes aren't constantly retaken. Also being able to learn different techniques of acting can help as actors are able to learn and improve therefore being able to be to bring something different to the table. An example of acting techniques are method, classic and the Chekhov acting technique.

Method acting is a  type of technique which actors and actresses will fall upon when doing movies with very real and emotional connection, this is when they practically become the character on and off set. Famous method actors for example are Heath Ledger, Jim Carrey, Robet De Nero and Christian Bale and many more.

personnel

personnel

crewing effectively you are able to stay on track, record your footage and stay in the budge.
compared to being poorly crewed your production may not even occur or will over run and not be secure.

when hiring a team the producer may hire the same actors/ actress as they are reliable and good at what they do. this is the same with the crew, some producers stick with the same crew as there is nothing wrong with them and they as well are good at what they do and it can also cost less money.

the cv is the last for a producer to look through and check as they want to be proven you can do the work; proven ability.

personel tends so change depending on your budget.

big budget
big budget productions are filled with specialist and professionals. on big budge productions someones job is only their job they for example being a make up artist is only a professional make up artist.

medium budget
is a low to no funding budget, with a slightly scaled crew however their crew will still be fitted with experienced professionals.

low budget
on a low budget production will have some variety of experience and may have some degree or training of a set experience.

micro budget
your crew will have to do more than on job on set and be able to cover 2 or 3 roles on set. the crew will have some ability to do some work on set however is not specialized in that area, as anyone can pick up a camera a record and be a camera man/woman.

recces / location

what is a recce ?

is a process in which a group of people from the pre production team check certain types of locations for the film. it is a survey of location, space, lights and sounds ect.

is an essential part of preparation to meet contribution, assess location and research strip  > budget

recces are impotant because it picks the location. prior to commiting to location the location manager and designer if they decide to pick the location have to return to the director and producer. after giving back thier feed back they will visit the place multiple times again with the main technictions and overall will test the area for sound and lighting.

'technical recces' are the people which decide the area of filming.

you would attend recces for specialist knowledge and ensure what is planned will be possible.

health and safety

Health and safety is a crucial focus during the location scouting and securing process. Risk management forms a very important part of health and safety.

We can think for example about locations which are picked for key stunt or dance sequences. These are checked on to determine whether they are safe for the kinds of activities which will be filmed. If the ground is uneven it may cause people to be harmed due to this lack of safety.

Locations have to look very authentic, this is why many scenes are built by people for example someone falling of a cliff this can't actually happen due to the risk of injury, however the surroundings can be real.

There is also the need to prepare for all weather for health and safety. Weather can cause damage and make surfaces slippery. When doing action scenes this can cause dangers and make pre-production much harder.

There is also a massive health and safety risk with young underage children and by law they have to be accompanied by a parent or guardians if on set; there parents also have to give permission for them to do certain actions not just their consent. Their safety comes first above all other things when on set.
The BBC have many rules as well one for example being no phones permitted on set and no photos being taken of or with the children and no following of any media accounts of theirs or yours.

Also when filming in area such as schools a risk assessment is needed but not only with schools. when filming in schools there is a need of permission from parents.
